What we store
- Sign in with Apple: an anonymous user identifier from Apple and, if you choose to share it, your email address. Apple lets you hide your real email address.
- Your profile: the username you choose, your rating, rank and number of games. Other players can see your username, rank and rating.
- Games: moves, ship positions and results, so games can be played over several days.
- Friends and blocks: who you are friends with, friend requests and players you have blocked.
- Statistics: wins, losses, hit rate and rating history.
- Notifications: a push token for your device and your language, so we can tell you when it is your turn.
- Reports: if you report another player, we store the report and your reason, so it can be reviewed.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or payment details. Any in-app purchases are handled by Apple.
Why we store it
Only to run the game: to let you sign in, play against other players, keep scores and rankings, send notifications you have allowed, and keep the game safe from abuse.
Who processes the data
- Supabase hosts the game's database and server. The data is stored in the EU (Paris, France).
- Apple provides Sign in with Apple and delivers push notifications.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time in the game under Profile → Delete account. This removes your profile, friends, statistics, notifications and sign-in. Games in progress are resigned. Finished games may still show your former username to your opponent.
Website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google. If the leaderboard is shown, it lists the usernames, ranks and ratings of the top players, the same details other players can already see in the game.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Write to the contact address above. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
